Who are you Tom Bender

                                              ?  when you start playing basketball

Tom:  I started when I was young boy,No more than seven-eight years old. I start playing basketball in high school in Ohayo state ,in a state of Aiwa. I first started in primary school I play for our team in a primary school in the state of Aiwa. Then I went to the high school  and I play basketball for the high school team.Universities through of America wrote me inside people who like to come to the university and play basketball

?when do you move from the United States to Australia

Tom: "After I graduated from university,I work for one year in the United States in a state of Oklahoma,after that one year I decided to go to Australia to work and visit. I love Australia so much and became a citizen of Australia. Then I was selected on the Australian basketball team to play in olympic games 1972

Tom: It was in 1968 when I went to Australia. Four years later I became an Australian citizen and the national coach selected me in his team, it was in 1972
 and the following year I decide to go to Europe and play basketball professional

?where did you play in Europe

Tom: My first year in Europe was in Holland,I play one year in a national one competition in Holland. The following year I went to Sweden and play again in a national one label. The following year I went to France and I play two seasons there. Following those two seasons in France I came to Israel. I play for two seasons with a team call maccabi ramat gan

?when you start training teams

 Tom: I train junior teams in Holland, in Sweden and train some in France
In Israel I was head basketball coacher in the national American school in kfar shmaryaho beside playing for maccabi ramat gan
I trained teacher, I have a degree in medication and I was able to use that when I was in Europe

?now you are in Osifiya. Why do you decide to live here? Is there any reason for that

Tom: Yes,Or canal  is where we are associated with, we work in Or canal helping in humanitarian oppression, helping people who are in need
I always have a belief where ever you are you help


  ?that’s the reason you are here to help our team, do you save any money for it 

Tom: No' I don’t
When I grow up I was coaching, and I receive no money for that
I think one of the greatest things that a man can do is to help children and we can be a good example. So if we live here in Osifiya why not be involve in community
I have a heart for young people, I like to believe that what we do here with young people and when we develop the youth club three years ago and also start to get involved in basketball when we came here to live three years ago. so we been involved with young people of Osifiya in the three years we been here
The basketball is for young. So we are looking at the beginning stages of basketball development
